The A- Venue Cairns program assists emerging musicians aged between 15 and 30 to develop skills and music industry as well as providing access to performance platforms across a wide range of venue.
The program supports access to business training, mentoring, industry induction, management skills training, access to production facilities and links to entertainment events in our Northern region. A- Venue Cairns has partnered with a variety of organizations (within Council and the private sector) to deliver the following industry workshop events and more:
- Youth Radio Training Program (Smithfield)
- Cooked in Cairns Music Industry Workshops
- Our Band Biz workshop
- Capacity Building Workshops
- One on One mentoring / Career Planning Sessions with emerging regional artists / bands
