A-Venue Moreton Bay is a contemporary music development program which aims to foster a thriving youth music scene in the Moreton Bay region. The program is being delivered by Cassey Russell and Transit Lounge Caboolture in partnership with Moreton Bay Regional Council.
Our 2011-2012 program includes
- Band Aid- mentoring by industry professionals at key stages in a band’s development
- A-Venue Website- resources, reviews, local band profiles and more
- Conference Tickets- Sponsored places at key music industry conferences
- Music by the Bay- monthly open mic in Deception Bay
- Amplify – Song writing workshops delivered in partnership with local youth agencies
- Inter-Regional Performances – developing new opportunities for bands to play
